Antosha Chekhonte - a literary pseudonym of the great Russian writer and playwright Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. He signed some of his humorous stories and feuilletons to amuse and intrigue the reader. In his stories, Chekhov showed the world at the same time funny and sad. He ridiculed human flaws like hypocrisy or servility, but never imposed his point of view, giving the reader the opportunity to draw conclusions himself. Chekhov's humor amuses and hurts the heart.
