Confessional education in Dagestan in the All -Russian educational context. Murtuzaliev S.I.
The history of multi -confessional and polyetonic Dagestan is inextricably linked with the history of paganism, Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Judaism and, of course, Islam. The book is devoted to the history of the formation and functioning of religious education institutions operating in the territory of Dagestan.
Authors trace the changes that occurred in these systems as a result of the influence of historically significant socio-economic, political and cultural processes that took place in Dagestan; They offer a new periodization that allows not only to go beyond the “national” history of pedagogy, but also to “enter” it into the World Historical and Pedagogical process. The main trends in the development of confessional education systems at the present stage and their real state in Russia and in Dagestan are analyzed.
