Confucius - an ancient Chinese thinker, whose philosophical teaching, known as "Confucianism", has become widespread in East Asia and China itself. The important text of the teaching is “Lun Yu” (“Judges and Conversations”), recorded by the students of Confucius and containing observations and sayings of the wise philosopher.

“Judges and conversations” along with such texts as “The Book of Way and Dignity” and “The Art of War” is a literary and cultural monument of ancient China. The topics affected in the “Lun Yu” are extensive and concern many life aspects. The famous principle of ethics appears here: “What do you not want to yourself, do not do others.”
