A luxurious annual plant from the family is astricle, up to 80 cm high. A lush bush with openwork leaves is covered with white flowers, with a diameter of 10 cm, with a spectacular carmine-red border along the edge of the petals. Blooms abundantly from July to frost. Cosmea is cold -resistant and photophilous, relatively drought -resistant. It is undemanding to the soils, prefers loose, moderately fertile soils. They grow direct sowing into the ground in late April and early May, or in the winter. It is used for planting on flower beds, in mixborders for decorating fences and walls of buildings, planted as the back background of the curb. Successfully spreads by self -sowing.
