This publication continues the cycle of research of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation aimed at the scientific support of counteracting corruption.

In the monograph, proposals are formulated to create conceptual approaches to overcoming the negative impact of corruption on the achievement of sustainable development goals. The concepts and content of “household” and “business” corruption are analyzed, the results of the relevant sociological studies, as well as legal measures to combat illegal financial flows and methods of returning corruption assets are considered. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the features of counteracting corruption in such areas of public life as economics, judicial system, education, environmental protection and healthcare.
