Cranes and lightning. Krapivin V.P.
In 1981, Vladislav Krapivin wrote the novel “Cranes and Lightning” - a bewitching story about growing up, friendship and searching for oneself. At that time, the writer's books were already a huge success, but it was this work that took a special place among them. Kapivin defined the "Cranes and Lightning" as "Romance for children and adults." The main character, the eleven -year -old Yurka Zhuravin, nicknamed Zhurka, moves with his parents to another city and faces situations that put him before a serious moral choice. The pure and bright world of the child is opposed to the "lightning" of real adult life. Zhurka is experiencing pain of loss, fear, betrayal, but remains true to himself and friends, open and honest.
