Crime and Punishment. Dostoevsky F.M.

“Crime and Punishment” is one of the most famous works of Dostoevsky. This socio-philosophical novel, first published in 1866, influenced all European literature. In this publication, the atmosphere of St. Petersburg of the second half of the 19th century, as well as the complex and sometimes contradictory characters of the heroes are perfectly conveyed in the drawings of Olga Rusakova, made specifically for this book. The publication is completed by a small outline of the literary critic A. L. Volynsky about the Western European and Russian perception of the novel by Dostoevsky.
