Demonstration material tells about the Crimean, or Eastern, war - the largest geopolitical confrontation between Russia and the West in the middle of the 19th century. The main fighting unfolded at the Black Sea Theater; At the same time, the Anglo-French squadrons attacked all the border borders of Russia-in the West (in the Baltic Sea), the East (Petropavlovsk in Kamchatka) and the North (Solovetsky Monastery, Arkhangelsk). Although, in general, the war ended unsuccessfully for Russia, Russian warriors everywhere showed samples of heroism and defended the integrity of the country.
