Crimson Island. Bulgakov M.
The author of the most famous novel of the 20th century “Master and Margarita”, as well as the novels “Dog heart” and “Deviliad”, Mikhail Afanasevich Bulgakov (1891-1940) became famous for his dramatic works. The real edition included his brilliant plays “Zoikina Apartment”, “Crimson Island”, “Basal Svyatosh” and “Conducted Jourdin”. Without these works, it is impossible to fully assess his work. The struggle for power, the witness of which was Bulgakov, his conflict with criticism and the powerful of this world reflected in his texts in the mixing of real and fantastic, genuine and false, light and darkness. In satirical comedies and buffoons, the most important problems of the life of Soviet society were addressed: the ugly features of the NEP, the omnipotence of ideological censorship, the clash of genius and power. Written sharply, cheerfully, fun and truthfully, these works of Bulgakov, relevant at all times, belong to the best pages of domestic literature.
