Cross the line. Stories about my patients. Yaspers K.
Why is a person in a foreign city easier to go on a crime than in his native penalties? What generates the fear of migrants in people, and how does this fear make them cross the line of the law? How do mistakes of perception pushes healthy people into the arms of rage, insanity and psychosis? The brain makes us commit a crime, or is looking for an excuse already made by the decision?
Karl Yaspers, the great philosopher of the twentieth century, began his career as a psychiatrist, and he wrote his best scientific works during the years of work in the clinic for mentally ill.. The stories of his own patients formed the basis of his work about crimes in a state of rage, reactive psychosis, as well as murders committed by migrants. The scientist wrote these works at the beginning of the twentieth century, and after several decades, already in the second half of the century, he completely processed it. Works “Nostalgia and Crimes”, “The mistakes of perception” and “The doctrine of reactive psychoses” formed the basis of this book.
