Gulliver variety was bred in the Bryansk region in the Federal Tax Code of the Vic. V. R. Williams. The authors were Astakhov A. I. and Zuev L. I. for the parental couple were taken by varieties of a seedlings of a dove and line 32-77 (Bredtorp). In 2000, after all the tests, the culture was listed in the state register and was allowed to use.
The description of the variety
As stated by the manufacturer, the type of growth of the bush is vigorous. The crown is weak -wing, in density is average. The shoots are thick and grow almost always curved. By color, they are olive-green. The older the escape, the stronger it grows stronger, and there is practically no pubescence on it. The kidneys on the branches are formed in rich green color.
Standard leaves. They consist of three blades, with deep cuts, slightly shiny, pointed. The surface of the plate is wrinkled, dark green in color.
The brushes are medium, slightly winding, thick. On one brush, from 9 to 17 berries are formed.
Flowering occurs in late May and lasts about 14 days. The buds are medium and small, red-purple. The cups have a bright color.
Gardeners note that the positive aspects of the variety are that currants are immune to spring frosts, and also tolerates a short drought.
