The book is devoted to an important clinical problem - cytopenes of peripheral blood. The main types of cytopenia (anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia) are presented in an isolated version or in combination with various pathological conditions. Modern ideas about the mechanisms of development and the clinical significance of cytopenia are given. Algorithms of diagnostic search are given, the ultimate goal of which is to identify the cause of cytopenia, i.e. Diagnosis of the underlying disease in a patient with cytopenia.
