Dangerous ties. Shorello de Laclo
“Dangerous connections”- a novel, published in 1782 in Paris, became the most readable and most discussed scandalous. This masterpiece of world literature has not lost its severity now. It is no accident that the novel was filmed 13 times. This is the “dangerous ties of 1960” by R. Vadim, and “Valmon” by M. Forman, and “Cruel Games”, in which the action was transferred to our time, and the film by Stephen Frirs of 1988 with Glenn Klowz, John Malkovich, Michelle Pfeiffer in main roles.
France of the XVIII century. The young Cecil Mother takes the young Cecil from the monastery to get married. And a couple of exquisite-disturbed villains-the Marquis de Mertey and Viscount de Valmon does everything to carry out his insidious plans. They break their life for a young girl, washing her wedding. They corrupt the married God -fearing ladies, demonstrating knowledge of all the features and subtleties of seduction. A real school in the conquest of hearts. The author, in the preface, cites the opinion of one of the mothers about the book "I would think that I will provide my daughter’s service if I let her read it on the day of her marriage." It would now be a reasonable step. Passion, temptation, revenge, secrets, desires - these are all “dangerous connections.” “Cruel Games” in which the action was transferred to our time, and the film by Stephen Frive 1988 with Glenn Close, John Malkovich, Michelle Pfeiffer in the main roles. All this once again proves that “dangerous connections” have not yet lost their severity and attractiveness yet.
