This textbook is a significantly recycled and expanded publication of the “Practical Course of the Danish Language” by A. S. Novakovich, prepared at the Department of the Scandinavian languages ​​of the MGIMO Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the textbook is to instill oral communication skills in the Danish language within everyday life and some socio-cognitive topics. It contains an introductory-phonetic course and an application to it, consisting of phonetic and lexical-grammatical programmed exercises with keys to them; The main course with a consistent presentation of lexical and grammatical material and its consolidation using a system of communicative exercises and artistic comments, as well as an application consisting of programmed lexical and grammatical exercises with keys to them. The textbook lessons contain links to the corresponding points of the section “Grammar of the Danish language” placed at the end of the book.

The textbook is intended primarily for use in educational institutions, as well as for independent study of the Danish language.
