When a young talented playwright and theater director Peregrin Jay receives a bombed London Theater from the mysterious oil tycoon - there is no limit to its joy. After the restoration of Dolphin, the play of Jay about Shakespeare’s life goes with a full house, which is largely facilitated by the glove of the son of the great poet, which was put on display in the lobby, transferred to temporary storage with a generous millionaire. However, a priceless relic-a too vane piece: the rarity is abducted, the watchman is killed, and the only witness-a boy-actor-lies in the hospital unconscious. Superintendent Roderic Alley will have to figure out what happened in the theater in that fatal evening.
