The new Sheriff Briggert is called into a camping closed for the winter, where shooting occurred. But the place of the crime, it would seem, is absent - there is no arrow, no sacrifice, no blood... No one except, the only, according to Bree, the witness - a homeless teenager, Alissa. Alissa claims that her friend had just shot.

BRA is associated with Matt Flynn, a former employee of the K-9 detachment, in order to track the killer and find Alissa's friend with the help of dogs. But they find a new victim - the corpse of a missing student under the ice of the lake.
