Debe. Fadeev A.
The defeat of Alexander Fadeev is one of the most famous novels dedicated to the Civil War. It was written shortly after its end and in many respects autobiographical: in 1919-1921 the future writer, and at that time the Red Commissioner, participated in hostilities in the Far East. This is the story of the defeat and death of the partisan detachment, told brightly and truthfully.
perceived at first ambiguously, later the novel was included in the school curriculum and withstood hundreds of reprints. In Soviet times, the “defeat” was interpreted as a work about the moral victory of the communist idea. However, the novel about the Civil War, shown in all its deeper contradictions and drama, managed to survive his time and remain universally recognized classics of domestic literature.
The publication also included the novels and stories of A. Fadeev “Spill”, “Birth of the Amgun Regiment”, “Earthquake” and “On Poverty and Wealth”.
