“Decorator” is one of the novels of the trilogy Chen Yan. The protagonist of this story is Diao Shunjzi, whose family lives in the city of Sitzin for several generations. Due to his readiness to work hard, good character and everyday resourcefulness, Shunjza collects a brigade of decorators around him. There are two main plot lines in the story: the first is the work of Diao Shunjza as a decorator, and the second is the family problems of Diao Shunjzi, which he has to deal with every day. The characters of the story are depicted in detail and vividly, and their stories are changeable and unstable. The author of the story describes the ups and downs in the life of a conventional decorator in the city of Sitzin.

Chen Yan trilogy also includes the novel “The Main Hero” in two volumes and the collection “Stories from the Sitro”.
