Deliberate practice in the diagram-therapy. Bekhari V.T., Farrel J. M., VAZ A.
This book contains a description of individual role -playing games in which two students act as a client and therapist, replacing each other under the leadership of a supervisor. The practitioner in the role of the therapist improvises the corresponding and authentic answers to the client’s allegations, attributed to three difficulty levels: initial, medium and advanced. The process itself reflects the general problems that the therapists are faced with.
The first 12 exercises are devoted to skills arising from three stages of the scheme-therapy (attachment and emotional regulation, changes in the regime and autonomy), and include a limited Parenthood, psychological formation of a schematic approach and coping mode and empathic confrontation.
After that, two complex exercises follow-an annotated scenario and imitation of therapeutic sessions in free form-in which practitioners integrate the main skills into one session. P>
step -by -step instructions are carried out by students through exercises, determine the criteria for mastering each skill and explain how to control and adjust the therapeutic process. Also given are recommendations that will help instructors and students get the maximum return on classes.
