Demons is one of the most important novels by F. M. Dostoevsky. When “Notes from the Dead House”, “Notes from the Underground”, “Crime and Punishment” and “Idiot” were already written, Dostoevsky still experienced an acute feeling of dissatisfaction and, by his own admission, only got to his main work, before which the whole "The former literary career was only rubbish and introduction."
