The second edition of the textbook at the modern level sets out all the main sections of skin and sexually transmitted diseases provided for by a standard program for students of medical universities studying in specialties on 31.05.01 Medical Affairs, 05/31/02 Pediatrics and 32.05.01 “Medicine -pophylactic business in the discipline "skin and sexually transmitted diseases." The main attention is paid to the clinical picture of skin and sexually transmitted diseases in adults and children, their etiologies and pathogenesis. For the first time in the textbook, treatment and prevention correspond to the federal clinical recommendations of the Russian Society of Dermatovenerologists and Cosmetologists. The uniqueness of the textbook consists in the dialogue of authors with students, which is facilitated by the given aphorisms of writers, drawings of artists who turn students into the world of art. This publication reflects the entire gamut of colors and their shades (50), which allows classically describing morphological elements. The publication is also illustrated by color photographs from the Department of the Department. The concept of the textbook involves not only reading the material, but also its comprehension, the solution of situational problems that contribute to the development of clinical thinking. Crosswords are also given that forcing students to return to the read material, and therefore, to master it deeperly.
