Design of combat aircraft. Foreign experience. Titov A.N.
The book is devoted to the design of modern combat aircraft, the choice of their form and its aerodynamic justification. The experience of aerodynamic design is presented, embodied in the aircraft of the last decades. The history of the main innovations is traced - supercritical profiles, a rule of space, maneuverable flaps, wings of changed swimmingness and the concept of aircraft with a configuration determined by the control system. The behavior of a combat aircraft with large angles of the attack is considered, which causes the need to ensure stability and controllability using the influence of all the main elements of the aircraft: wing, fuselage, air intakes, horizontal and vertical plumage, means of wing mechanization, playing a role also in the process of active maneuvering. This is shown not only within the framework of the theory and on the example of experimental research, but also in real constructions.
