The issues of methane content in the main sources of its isolation, methanohist of the developed spaces during the treatment with coal, the interaction of the drops of fluid and dust particles, the petrographic features of fossil coal and their effect on the release of methane and dust, the fuse of methane -ruling mixtures. Actual data on the methanony of coal layers in the array and the zone of the influence of treatment plants, methane breeding in mining and degassing wells. Gas -dynamic processes in excavation areas and frictional sparking as a source of methane ignition were studied. Methods and means are proposed to prevent inflammation of methane and coal dust from friction sprinkling in the process of excavation of coal with mountain combines.
