Deviliad. Fatal eggs

The works of Mikhail Bulgakov, collected in this book, are united by a common topic and, one might say, one character of the 20s of the twentieth century. This is a collective unconscious whose voice was sensitively captured by Bulgakov as a feuilletonist of capital's newspapers and magazines. The journalistic service allowed the prose on their own to see and evaluate the scolding results of the social experiment conducted by the Bolsheviks. The novels included in this collection-“Fatal Eggs” and “Deviliad”-give a wide political, social and household panorama of the 20s.
