The author analyzes a large amount of documents of the 1937-1938 era. The book contains more than two hundred photocopies of documents with a detailed analysis. You can evaluate these documents in different ways, but the dialectics of the era is striking. For some reason, documents on the normal work of bodies, about construction, about the socialist economy look quite reliable. But from the papers about criminal disgraces, it is every now and then blows signs of falsification. There are enough examples in the book to verify this.
