Dialectics of myth. Losev A.

Alexey Fedorovich Losev (1893–1988) C is an outstanding religious thinker, philosopher, translator, commentator of ancient and medieval literature. Exploring the nature of the myth, Losev defines it as a synthesis of four concepts - personality, history, miracle and word. According to the philosopher, the myth is “in words this wonderful personal story”, “expanded magical name”. “The Dialectics of the Myth” (1930) is the most famous work of A.F. Losev, in which the author’s philosophical credo was more fully expressed.
