This publication unites twelve interviews and the conversations of Cartier-Bresson, dating back to the period from 1951 to 1998. They reveal Cartier-Bresson fascinating and enthusiastic. He talks about photography, reflects on the state of the world and looks back at the path traveled. These statements, related to a period of time for almost half a century, also allow us to see the evolution of the photographer’s thoughts: he returns to some topics, changes his point of view, sometimes contradicts himself. So there is not a frozen legend, but on the contrary, a very lively image of Cartier -Bresson - perhaps the most famous photographer of the 20th century.
