Diaries of 1937-1941. Khipunov I.

This publication publishes the diaries of the Soviet schoolboy Ivan Khripunov (1923–1942). Frequent movements of the family and preservation of contacts with relatives and acquaintances through letters allow Ivan to present on the pages of the diary the situation in different regions of the Soviet Union in 1937–1941. The diary contains a detailed description of collectivization and dispossession, hunger 1932–1933, problems of economics and education, the tragedy of the first months of the Great Patriotic War.
