Yuri Markovich Nagibin (1920-1994) - a famous Russian Soviet prose writer, journalist, screenwriter. He studied at the Medical Institute, transferred to the script department of VGIK, which he did not finish - the war began. After the contusion, he worked as a military correspondent, in 1943 he released the first collection of stories. According to his scenarios, many films were shot, including “Chairman”, “Red Tent”, “Midermarins, forward!”. In the series “Literary Monuments of Russian Life” we represent the unique work of Yuri Nagibin, not only in the context of time, but also in the context of the writer’s work - “Diary” in two volumes. These memories are not easy to read, especially in emotional terms, but it is impossible to break away, - Yuri Markovich’s extreme sincerity clings so much - primarily in relation to himself.
The first volume included the author’s preface to the “Diary” and diary entries from 1942 to 1975.
The second volume included diary entries from 1976 to 1986.
