Dictionary-tesaurus of synonyms of the Russian language

Dictionary -Tesaurus of synonyms of the Russian language (ideographic dictionary of synonyms) is a fundamentally new lexicographic publication. It first shows how many synonymous rows (and which ones) are included in a particular semantic (ideographic) group, i.e. Corrections with the common concept for them (e.g., with the concepts of “joy”, “love”, “happiness”, “periods of human life” and many others). The dictionary describes 7258 synonymous series, including about 40,000 words (39,246 words of the description). The synonymous ranks taking into account the hierarchy of the displayed concepts are distributed in 16 semantic spheres, 430 ideographic groups and subgroups. The alphabetical pointer of words included in the synonymous series helps to quickly find not only the synonyms of the desired word, but also those synonymous ranks that correlate with the nearby ideographic sign (concept).

The dictionary is addressed to the widest circle of readers: students and schoolchildren, specialists in the field of the Russian language and general linguistics, teachers of the Russian language as a native and foreign, journalists, writers, media workers, and everyone who has been Loves Russian and seeks to use its inexhaustible wealth.
