Dictionary-Tesaurus of synonyms of the Russian language (ideographic dictionary of synonyms) is a fundamentally new lexicographic publication. For the first time, it shows how many synonymous rows (and which ones) are included in one or another semantic (ideographic) group, that is, it is correlated with the common concept for them (e.g., with the concepts of “joy”, “love”, “happiness”, “happiness” "," Periods of human life "and many others). The synonymous ranks taking into account the hierarchy of the displayed concepts are distributed in 16 semantic spheres, 430 ideographic groups and subgroups. The alphabetical index of words included in the synonymous ranks helps to quickly find not only the synonyms of the desired word, but also those synonymous ranks that correlate with a nearby ideographic feature (concept).
