The plot center is a young family: a philologist Seda and architect Sarkis. In April 1991, they hopefully meet the beginning of a new life - the birth of independent Armenia. But since the Karabakh war, which began in 1989, continues, and the economic blockade, the family is faced with tests: hunger, political devastation, and the loss of loved ones. A decade of independence turns into a nightmare. They betray each other, make mistakes, leave for different countries. The last time surviving family members will gather together after 20 years to bring the line under the past.
