The book is devoted to the urgent medical and social problem of modernity -the fast and chronic progressive disturbances in cerebral circulation, the main cause of which is arterial hypertension and atherosclerosis. The book contains modern data on the state of this problem and methods of studying it. The information based on the personal experience of the authors is presented with information about the morphological changes in the vascular system and brain tissue and their pathogenesis in various forms of cerebrovascular accident.
