CENTION Lucius Firmian Lactations (c. 250 - c. 325) is one of the most significant writers of early Christianity, whose work had a noticeable influence on the entire subsequent patristic thought and intellectual atmosphere of the early Middle Ages, and later found a response in the future the work of medieval theologians who revered lactation as a "Christian Cicero". In this publication, readers are proposed to translation into Russian of “Divine Establishments”, the main essay Lactance. In it, the author, on the one hand, polemizes with adherents of paganism and gives systematic criticism of various schools of ancient philosophy, and on the other, claims the unshakable foundations of the Christian doctrine, based not on the shaky of the human mind, but on the divine revelation. This work of lactation, contemporary of Konstantin the Great, was the first attempt to state the main provisions of Christian creed in the Latin language. The proposed translation of the essay lactation is accompanied by an introductory article, and is also equipped with the necessary comments and the pointer. For all those interested in the history of the ancient Church and the formation of Christian dogma.
