Dog's heart. Bulgakov Mikhail Afanasevich
The story “Dog heart” is one of their most famous and memorable works in the work of Mikhail Bulgakov. With inimitable sarcasm and humor, Bulgakov described the unprecedented risky experiment of Professor Preobrazhensky to turn a dog into a person, creating a magnificent parody of the paradoxical atmosphere of Soviet Russia of the 30s. The brutal experience in breeding a new “breed” of people shows that it is impossible to experiment with nature with impunity and change God's fishing for the sake of political goals. The brainchild of such experiments can destroy their creators.
The story was twice film adaptated: Italian Albert Lattoida and Vladimir Bortko. The Russian film adaptation was awarded numerous awards and received high ratings of the audience.
