Doubleness. Roman about the times of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich. Zarin A.
“They wanted to choose the not capable, but the most convenient,” the historian V.O. Klyuchevsky. The ruler, whose shoulders of which fell on the restoration of the Russian state after the Time of Troubles, is often undeservedly lost in historical retrospective against the backdrop of his descendants: the son of Alexei Mikhailovich and the grandson of Peter the Great. However, it was Mikhail Fedorovich who, as the founder of the three -hundred -year dynasty, was destined to open a new page of our history and lay the foundation for further great achievements.
The historical novel A.E. Zarina “Doubleness” draws a picture of Russian society, its orders and morals in the reign of Mikhail Romanov. The artistic understanding of this period is supplemented by the historical essay by V.O. Klyuchevsky and the memoirs of a contemporary-the German geographer and traveler Adam Olearia, who compiled a “description of the journey of the Holstein embassy to Muscovy and Persia.”
The project “Gathers of the Russian Land” is implemented by the Russian military-historical society with the support of the United Russia party.
