Dracula. Stoker B.
The Anglo-Irish prose writer Braham Stoker gained worldwide glory and literary immortality as the author of the novel “Dracula”, in which he connected folklore and literary plots about vampires with the figure of the bloody Eastern European ruler, fears and fantasy of the end of the Victorian era-with many-century experience of the occult sciences and Esoteric teachings, but most importantly, created a new mythical hero, immortal in every sense. The story, image and name of Count Dracula, glorified by numerous sequels and adaptations of Stoker's book, formed the basis of the modern mythology of vampirism, which became an important part of the XX culture and art, and now the 21st century.
This edition also contains the story “Guest Dracula” (the form of the events of the famous novel, excluded by Stoker from the final text and subsequently published separately) and is accompanied by illustrations for one of the first editions of Stoker's novel in Russian, made in 1912.
