Dracula. The most complete version. Stoker B.
For the first time in Russia, the most complete translation of the cult novel!
Young London lawyer Jonathan Harker goes to the mysterious Transylvania to a strange client, Count Dracula. Having barely avoided death in the count of Count, Harker returns to protect his bride Min and start a dangerous hunt for a powerful vampire... Bram Stoker studied Irish folklore for many years, as well as Eastern European myths and legends about bloodsuckers before publishing his amazing history in 1897. For her reasons, dozens of films were shot, including the famous Hollywood blockbusters “Dracula Bram Stoker” (dir. Francis Ford Coppola, 1992) and Van Helsing (dir. Stephen Somers, 2004). And the ominous vampire of Dracula is today known in mass culture no less than Darth Vader from Star Wars or Joker from Batman. The bright, frightening, mystical and sexual images of Stoker provided the “Dracula” eternal life in art.
The proposed gift edition included the most complete translation of the novel into Russian, as well as a collection of stories “Your Forever, Dracula”. The book is decorated with amazing illustrations by Edgar Alfred Holloway and unique personnel from the first film adaptations of the novel: Nosferatu: Symphony of Horror (1922) and the 1931 feature film.
