Matti lives with foster parents in Paris. His real parents went missing when he was still very small. Everyone says that they died, but Matti has their own opinion on this score. He is determined to go in search of them when he grows up.

Matti has a best friend Din who dreams of an interesting, saturated by the adventures of life. But Matti is given the opportunity to explore the mysterious outside world when his uncle takes him with him for a summer vacation.

Uncle Jussi brings him to the island of Drekar Mooooo, to the Dragon Castle - the headquarters of the Order of the Dragon riders.
