Artyur Rimbo is the brightest representative of French poetry of the XIX century. The young absurd dreamer, despising the “high impulses” of his contemporaries, exhausted by the adolescent complexes, the tyranny of the mother, the idiocy of the province and the drunkenness of bohemia, created poems by amazing beauty, strength and passion, bizarrely combining the beautiful and low -end, breaking the usual traditions of poetic thought.

This collection included the entire main block of Rimbo poems, including the prose cycles of “insight” and “time in hell” in the best translations today.
