Alexander Ivanovich Kuprin is a recognized master of a short story, the author of wonderful novels (Moloch, Olesya, Pomegranate Bracelet, Pit, etc.). The source of Kuprin's work has always been everyday life. In May 1905, in the collection “Knowledge”, the story of Kuprin “Duel” was the light - one of the most famous and perhaps the best work of the writer.
