Dumas club, or shadow of Richelieu. Perev-Reverte A.
Varo Borkha, the owner of the largest collection of book rarities in Spain, hires Lucas Corso, an experienced bukinist and a hunter for unique books in order to establish the authenticity of the copy of the book that was once devoted to the fire with its publisher and preserved only in three copies. At the same time, Corso will have to check for authenticity the manuscript of one of the chapters of the Three Musketeers.
The task is not easy. It is complicated by the fact that during its fulfillment, death pursues Lucas on the heels, but until time it takes with him only those with whom he deals. What is this? Random coincidence? Or demons from a book on how to call Lucifer from the gloom, do they really get out of the hellish gates?
based on the novel, the famous film of Roman Polanski's Ninth Gate (1999), in which Johnny Depp was shot.
