Vladimir Butromeyev is a modern prose writer. Born in 1953, in 1986, the first collection of stories “Love and believe”, awarded the Literary Prize named after M. Gorky, was published in the publishing house of the young guard. The play “Passion for Avdey”, written according to one of the chapters of the novel “Earth and People”, in the production of the Belarusian Academic Theater, was among the classical works of Belarusian drama, in 1991 was nominated to the USSR State Prize. Part of the trilogy of Vladimir Butromeyev “Dostoevsky Theater” was also set in the Belarusian Academic Theater. (“One Judgment Day from the life of the Karamazov brothers”, “crimes of demons and punishment of idiots” and “Eternal Thomas”). The mystification of the “Crown of the Grand Duchy” in 1999 received the award of the journal “Friendship of Peoples” as the best publication of the year and entered the short list of the Russian Bouquer Award. Butromeyev lives and works in Moscow, he is the creator of many well -known publishing projects, such as “Children's Plutarch”, “Tree of the life of Omar Khayyam”, “Monuments of World Culture”, “Big Illustrated Library of Classics”, marked by international and Russian prizes. The author worked on the novel "Earth and People" for more than twenty years. The heads of the novel were published in the magazines "Neman", "Roman Hazeta", "Bulletin of Europe". Continuing the traditions of Gogol’s prose and Andrei Platonov, rethinking the prophecies and foresight of Tolstoy and Dostoevsky, the author creates an epic work in which, as in a science fiction mirror, the fate of Russia of the 20th century was reflected.
