The purpose of this book is to introduce students to the most modern information on environmental problems in English. The texts of the manual are based on English-language materials adapted by the author-compiler for educational purposes to the Upper Intermediate level. The texts of the lessons of the book are accompanied by exercises aimed to test the understanding of the text, the development of lexical and grammatical material and the development of oral speech skills. The texts of the manual are equipped with Anglo-Russian dictionaries, as well as commentary. Some tasks at the end of the manual are given the keys.

The material of this manual corresponds to the topics of environmental education courses in secondary school and can be used in the study of the English language within the framework of the relevant curricula.
