This manual is based on the analysis of the results of research on the effectiveness of the psychotherapy of adults, adolescents and children suffering from post -traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The purpose of the leadership is to help the clinician in the treatment of such patients. Since PTSD therapy is carried out by specialists with various professional training, the authors of the leadership carried out an interdisciplinary approach to the problem. The book as a whole combines the efforts of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, art therapists, family consultants, etc. The heads of leadership are turned to a wide range of specialists involved in the treatment of PTSD. The book consists of two parts. The chapters of the first part are devoted to the review of the results of the most important studies. The second part provides a brief description of the application of various therapeutic approaches for the treatment of PTSR.
