Ilya Muromets is a mid -season yielding medium -sized variety, in which the period from complete seedlings to fruiting is 110–115 days. Designed for film shelters and in open ground.
The plant forms gigantic cylindrical glossy fruits of dark violet color. They do not leave bitterness. Reach 35–40 cm in length, up to 10 cm in diameter and weigh 500–700 g.
Creamy-white pulp has practically no seed nest. The skin is thin, delicate.
Fruits are perfect for baking, cooking caviar and vegetable stew.
Sowing: for seedlings at the end of February. Direct in the phase of cotyledon. Plant at the end of May according to the 40 × 60 cm scheme. Remove all side shoots and leaves to the first fork.
