The purpose

tire insulators serve to fasten the current -carrying tires inside the power cabinets and assemblies in order to fix and isolate the live parts from the housing and assembly panels, followed by connecting power conductors for the distribution of electricity inside the shield.

The principle of action

the insulator is mounted on one side using the bolt to the mounting plate or housing, on the other hand, a current -blooming tire is attached to the insulator. Each tire is installed on at least two insulators (at the ends of the tire), and the installation of intermediate insulators (depending on the installation circuit and the length of the tire) is possible. Dielectric properties are determined by the material and design of the insulator.
