“Electra Code” is the second part of the Swedish trilogy about the adventures of Orest and Malin, the action of which begins a few months after the events of the “Orest Code”.

Seventh graders find a casket with a clock and a letter from the last century, and also discover that some time ago, a high school student Mesina mysteriously disappeared from their school. Friends are drawn into a solution to new secrets, finding new hints: ciphers, pages of an ancient book, amazing old gadgets.

Oresta’s younger sister - a charming fidget of Electra - is also involved in a series of mysterious events. Is the baby part of the secret or will she help the heroes to solve her?

The author of these stories Maria Engrand worked as an engineer and lawyer. But then her hobby - the composition of stories - turned into a new profession. The writer loves her land in the southwest of Sweden with its small towns and forests. It is not surprising that the action of the novel unfolds in a quiet suburb, where mysticism, science, past and present are connected and captivated by the reader. And the images of the main characters on the cover, created by the artist Polina (Dr. Graf) Noskova, emphasize the mysterious atmosphere of this novel-quest, who won genuine interest to both schoolchildren and youth.
