Emperor Alexander III, during his lifetime, earned the title of a world-creator king, since during his reign, not a drop of Russian blood spilled on the battlefields. Under him, Russia returned the prestige of the Great World Power, the significance and influence of which became obvious and universally recognized. Alexander III did not admire the West, did not worship liberal ideas, believing that the literal planting of foreign order would not be good for Russia. He was a Russian man, Russians not in the “composition of blood”, but in the image of his thoughts, ideas and feelings. It was an Orthodox king-patriot, for whom all Russian was always expensive and invaluable, because it was a covenant of the ancestors, a gift of the Almighty. He did not doubt a minute that problems and absurdity in Russian life should be overcome, based on his own sense of understanding of duty and responsibility, on his own interests.
