Empire of signs. Bart R.

This book, which Bart himself called the “happiest” of all his books, is inspired by his trips to Japan and - wider - the “Japanese text” of his life: the early hobby of Hike, later - calligraphy, the Bunraca Theater, etc. This is the Bartesian “illustrated guide” around the country (both real and imaginary), where he dreamed of living, but could not settle. The Russian translation of the Empire of Signs, first published in 2004, is published in the new edition and is supplemented by a detailed commentary and afterword of the translator and editor.
